Individual Counseling

There are many stressors in life: depression, anxiety, sleep problems, boundaries, overwhelming situations. Maybe you don’t know who you are or what you want any more. Counseling is a confidential and safe space to explore your problems and feelings. My goal is to help you find yourself, find peace, balance and resolution.

Children & Teen Counseling

Growing up isn't easy. There are numerous social pressures, predators, and harmful factors in the environment. Children, preteens and teens struggling with depression, trauma, stress, anger, behavioral issues, issues of sexuality, trauma and cultural adjustment can benefit from child counseling. Family Counseling

Families may need to seek Family Therapy when there is a crisis or tension between spouses that is affecting the whole family. Items that can lead to an unstable family include problems in the family development stages, boundary issues, divorce, ethnicity, discrimination, spiritual or religious practices, or even power struggles between family members.

Karyn Ellis

Karyn Ellis, M.A., M.H.C.-A.

I am dedicated to child counseling, and helping teens, preteens, children and their families through the hardships that come with age and development as well as those caused by trauma, family transitional periods and difficult choices. I believe healing happens when individuals are able to freely grow through self awareness, and create healthy boundaries and coping skills. Change and growth is possible when individuals and couples have a supportive environment to process life’s journey and challenges. I am honored by the therapeutic role of counseling in the life of a child, individual, family.

My offices are located in Kenmore, Bothell and Monroe, Washington. I am part of the Cedar Park Counseling Network, helping those who live in the Eastside of Seattle.
